November Favourites 2015

Hiya! 

Somehow it's December already, DECEMBER!! This year has gone so fast wow! I've been trying lots of new things over the last month so I thought I'd  share my November Favourites with you. 

First, is a trusty product that I am already on my third bottle of, and that is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. I really love this foundation because it's matte and stays on all day! It sits beautifully on my skin (especially if I'm having a good skin day) I usually find with foundations that they sink into my pores but with this one it doesn't which makes my skin look so much clearer! It is £8.99 but you'll usually find it on offer (3 for 2) in Superdrug and Boots. 

As I love the foundation so much, I decided to buy the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer too. I really like it as it doesn't take to much to blend into my foundation, which is what I do find happens with some of the concealers I have used in the past. It covers up the redness of my skin and my dark circles really well and for £3.99 I think it's great. I will definitely be buying it again!

Recently I've been struggling with finding a powder that isn't "sparkly", I'm not too sure how to explain it but it almost makes my face look sweaty? Anyway, I wanted to find one that was matte and didn't clog up my skin too much. I was looking around the Internet to see what people had recommended and I saw that someone (I don't remember who) had recommended the Rimmel Clear Complexion face powder. As you may or may not know, I use Rimmel all the time when it comes to makeup and I really trust them with not making my skin all spotty (or more spotty than it already is) so when I saw this I was desperate to try it out. I bought it in Boots for £3.99 and it does do the job! However, it doesn't last as long as I'd like it to but I am happy with the product overall. 

My final makeup product is the Rimmel Kajal Eyeliner Pencil! If you know me well you'll know that I cannot live without eyeliner! I prefer pencil on the bottom of my eye, not too dark though as I don't want to come across as a 2005 scene kid haha. It is easy to smudge so if I do put too much on I can just smudge it out with my brush and all is well. For only £2.99 it is brilliant!! The only thing I would say is consider buying a proper eyeliner pencil sharpener as I used just an ordinary pencil sharpener and it broke it :( I will definitely not be doing that again!

If you know me at all you'll know that I love music! I have been especially into a band called Bring Me The Horizon recently and I've become pretty obsessed. So when I saw this next item in HMV the other week, I couldn't help but buy it! It's a ticket holder which is absolutely perfect for my bus pass for school! It has a picture of Bring Me The Horizon on the front and BMTH printed on the back! Beautiful! Haha. Love love love!

As I've just mentioned them then I can't not talk about their new album That's The Spirit. Many fans that have been fans for a while are saying that it's rubbish because it's not as heavy as their other albums... Personally I love it!! It's so different but that exactly what I love about it. We get to hear Oliver Sykes sing, pretty amazingly too! My favourite tracks from the album are What You Need, Follow You and Happy Song. 

These next items are a bit random but I have become absolutely obsessed with them, and they're the new Disney Tsum Tsum toys!! If you're a fellow Disney fan then I know you will love them as much as me! I have had to refrain myself to just three but I can 100% tell you that when I go to America (Disney World Florida) next year I am definitely buying so so so many more! Especially as they keep bringing more out, I really hope that they bring out some Star Wars ones now that (although I'm sure you know) Disney has bought Star Wars. Speaking of Star Wars, who's exited for the new movie this month? My dad and I are unbelievably exited!! We booked our tickets early last month, as soon as we saw they were on sale we booked them haha. We've been waiting for so long that I will be ever so disappointed if it's rubbish although I know it's going to be brilliant!! I am sure I will do a review of it once I've seen it, if you'd like to see that then comment below!

My top 10 bloggers/vloggers

Hi guys! Hope you're all doing really well! I am about to show you my TOP TEN BLOGGERS AND VLOGGERS!! And I'll be honest, it's been pretty hard to choose just ten! Oh, and I'd also like to point out that I have put them in no particular order, so ten isn't the worst, one isn't the best etc etc. 

Lets get started!!

Number ten. 

Dodie Clark/ doddleodle

Okay so first off I have chose Dodie, or more commonly known as doddleodle. I have been subscribed to Dodie for about a year and a half now and ever since I started watching her I have fallen in love with her videos! She posts covers, tutorials, funny collabs and so much more. Her videos make me smile and laugh and I definitely recommend her. 

Number nine. 

Lizzie/LD Shadowlady

Next I have chosen LD Shadowlady, I have been subscribed to Lizzie for such a long time! She is my favourite minecraft gamer although she does play a few different games such as; Sims 4, Happy wheels etc etc. I really love her videos as they're hilarious!! 100% recommend!

Number eight. 

Dan Howell/ Danisnotonfire

Wow, where do I start?? Daniel Howell! My first ever subscription! And I have been a huge fan ever since! I love love love him and his videos! He posts the funniest of videos so if you like comedy or someone basically just making fun of themselves all the time videos then I do recommend Danisnotonfire!

Number seven. 

Phil Lester/ AmazingPhil

Now, you can't have Dan without mentioning Phil! AmazingPhil was my second subscription after Dan! I found him through Dan, which makes sense as they are roommates. Although, his videos are just as funny! I especially like his "things I thought were true that are actually not" series. Another big recommendation. 

Number six. 

Zoe Sugg/ Zoella

I know, you're all probably just thinking "oh wow a Zoella fan what a surprise".  Well sorryyy but I really do love her videos! I find her makeup and hair tutorials really helpful! I also find her collabs extremely funny, especially the ones with her brother Joe(ThatcherJoe). 

Number five. 

Lucy and Lydia

Next I have chosen my favourite twins (sorry to any Niki n Sammy for JacksGap fans out there, I do watch them too) Lucy and Lydia!! I have been watching their videos for quite a while now and I was even lucky enough to bump into them when I went to see One Direction about a week ago!! They're so lovely and chatty! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Number four. 

Melody Collis.

At number four I have chosen my current fave Melody Collis! I have really been enjoying Melody's videos at the moment, they're really fun to watch and I especially enjoy her vlogs. She is also very nice to talk to, as I talk to her quite frequently and always comment on her videos (as they deserve it). Oh snd how can I forget, SHE IS GORGEOUS!! So if you haven't already, go subscribe to her on YouTube! I promise it's 10000000% worth it.

Number three. 

Connie/ Noodlerella

Now is one of my all time favourites!! Noodlerella is the best of the best (in my opinion) at impressions! I also loved watching her Disney World vlogs as its so fun watching her get very excited when meeting the princesses. I also completely blame Connie for giving me the recommendation to watch Sailor Moon. If you didn't know, Sailor Moon is the BEST Manga/Anime ever created! It's so so cute and I'm kinda obsessed :/

I would definitely recommend both Sailor Moon and Noodlerella. 

Number two. 

Felix/ Pewdiepie

If you haven't heard of Pewdiepie then you probably don't watch much YouTube (which is kinda good to be honest). Once you start watching Felix, you can't stop!! He does gaming videos and the odd subscription box opening video. He is honestly one of the funniest people I have ever seen!! He has the ability to make me cry laughing. One thing I would say is that he is VERY inappropriate for younger viewers so I'd be careful. 

Number one. 

Gabriella Lindley/ Velvetghost

Last but not least is Gabby!! GABBY MA QUEEEEEEN!! (Sorry I got a bit carried away there :/) I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gabby's videos! I think they are amazing! I really love her hauls as she has an amazing taste in clothes (my opinion). I am really glad I found her because without her I wouldn't have found Lucy and Lydia OR Zoella!!! I also really enjoy her Vlogs on her second channel.

How to dry hair with a fringe!

Hi everyone! 

Today I am writing a blog post which I wish I had found when I first got my fringe cut, and that it how to dry my hair efficiently. Also just a quick disclaimer: I wasn't sponsored in anyway, and please excuse my One Direction pjs haha. 

Here you go!!!!

Firsts things first, start with towel dried hair. Don't worry about your fringe yet just dry as normal with a towel. 

Then you need to find your fringe amongst your other hair(which is easier said than done to be honest) and then brush it how you want it to be. This is only how I like to style mine so if you have a side fringe now is the time to brush it to the side you would like it. 

Then you grab your hairdryer, I use the Babyliss Turbo Shine which is perfect for me, and your hairbrush again, I use a cheap one from Avon and I love it!

Then I dry my fringe, only my fringe at this point. 

This is what it should look like(depending on what fringe look you go for)

And finally you dry the rest of your hair, or if you prefer a more natural look you could leave the rest of your hair to dry on its own.

He is a rabbit and he is a Lion Haired. 

3) How long have you had your pet friend?

Almost a year!

One of my mums friends from work asked her if she wanted him and of course we said yes!!

About 3. 

6) What are some quirky things about your pet’s personality?

I'm not sure if it's quirky as such, but Jack is so nervous around people and it's so so cute! He comes to me if anyone else even looks at him. 

7) What does your relationship with your pet mean to you?

The world!! I honestly cannot remember a life without him!

8) What are some of your favorite past times with your pet?

Sitting in the garden with him on my lap and him climbing all over me. 

9) What are the nicknames that you call your pet?

Jackanory and Barakat (because of Jack Barakat from All Time Low)

Fringe worries

Hi guys,

This is only going to be short (but I will upload a proper blog post on Wednesday hopefully) as I'm kinda panicking and I'm a little bit worried about tomorrow...

Let me fill you in;

I've had the same hairstyle/haircut for a very long time now and I just feel quite bored with it if I'm completely honest! I feel as if I'm ready for a change. Tomorrow I am making that change!!! Tomorrow I am getting my hair cut into a fringe!!! Not a side fringe as I have at the moment but a full fringe!!! 

I am really excited... But here's my problem...

Whenever I talk to anyone (other than my friends as they say I'm gonna look great) they always say that I'm going to regret it or I'm making the wrong choice at my age. And I'm just really not sure! I've always told myself "Hair always grows back" or "Just wear a hat no one will notice" and to be honest it is very true! 

So yes, they are my thoughts at the moment!

Do you guys think I'm making the wrong choice of getting a fringe?

Do any of you have a fringe and could give me advice?? That would be great!!

Lovely weekend out//update

Hi guys this is kinda just a update post seeing as I haven't been very active recently which I am so sorry about!! I will be uploading more and more soon as it's slowly getting closer to my summer holidays!! Yay!!! 

Let's get straight to it!

On Saturday the 4th of July I went to my friend Eve's house for her birthday party/day out and it was wonderful!! All of my best friends were there and it was a lovely day! First we went to Pizza express which was AMAZING!!! And then we went to the beach!! It was gorgeous weather so we could go into the sea and then sunbathe!! It was so nice!! Finally we went back to my friends house and watched Into the woods!! As I had already seen it before I knew most of the words to the songs so I was singing a long!! After that we all went home.

On Sunday I woke up at 8, which is pretty early for me, to then go to a boot fair! My mum and I love going to boot fairs because we always find lots of bargains. Although, unfortunately, this boot fair was very rubbish!! Hardly anyone turned up which was pretty disappointing. 

I wasn't too disappointed though because it meant I could get home quicker to get ready for going to Louise's (sprinkle of glitter on YouTube) book signing! It was my second book signing so I sort of knew what to expect. 

When I arrived at the venue there were already A LOT of people queuing up and I was a whole hour early too! But I did not moan because I knew I would meet Louise eventually. Two hours passed and I was at the front of the queue! I was so so excited and a little emotional if I'm honest! I gave the security guard the card I had written for her and went to get my book signed! Louise was so kind! She looked gorgeous, even more gorgeous in real life than her videos!! She asked me how I was and how far I had come from and I answered as politely as I could without seeming a bit weird because at this point I was already tearing up! She then told me that she hopes I will enjoy the book and I told her that I'm sure I will and that I love her. 

As I was leaving to collect my poster I noticed a man standing near Louise. It was Dom! I said hi to him and asked him for a photo and he said yes!! 

Overall that day was honestly amazing! It was also lovely weather again which put everyone in a good mood!!

Hi guys! I thought I'd do something different for this blog post, and do a tag!! As I am definitely Disney obsessed(and have been since I was very little) I thought that the Disney tag would be a great one to start with! I hope you enjoy!!

1. What’s your favorite Disney movie?

Oh gosh this is very difficult! Well, I really like Tangled and Big Hero 6 but I think my all time favourite is The little Mermaid! Especially as I can sing along to all the songs!!

2. What disney character do you relate to the most? 

Ooh, I guess probably Aurora because she sleeps for ages and I really like sleep!! 

3. What disney girl is the prettiest?

Ooh this is tough!! I think I'll have to say... Either Cinderella(real life version)or Ariel!

4. What disney guy is the hottest?

FLYNN RYDER FOR SURE!! DAMNNN

5. Who is your favorite sidekick?

Olaf or Baymax!! Either of them would be so cute and fun to have as a sidekick!

6. Favourite villain?

Probably Urlsula or Maleficent because they're both pretty badass! 

7.All time favorite disney soundtrack?

Into the woods!! Oh my goodness! If you haven't seen the film yet you really should but wow the soundtrack is amazing!!!!

The beginning of UP!! I cannot watch it or even think about it without tearing up!!

9. Who’s your least favorite disney character?

LEAST FAVOURITE!!?? WHAT!? Nope I cannot answer this one! I love them all!!!

11. Have you ever been to a disney park? 

YES I HAVE!! I've been to DisneyLand Paris twice and DisneyWorld Florida twice too! Next year I am lucky enough to be going to DisneyWorld Florida again!!!

12. Disneyland or Disneyworld? 

DisneyWorld! I just feel the atmosphere is just better in my opinion! 

13. Do you prefer 2D animation or 3D animation?

Depends what film really, because for some films the 3D makes it incredible but others its just pointless!

14. What is a fairly tale or theme you would want in the next disney film?

UNICORNS!!! I really think we need unicorns in Disney!!

15. Favourite thing you own that is disney? 

Either my Baby Goofey toy  or my Nemo snow globe thingy that I bought the very first time I went to a Disney park!!

16. First disney film you have seen?

Oh wow, I had no idea so I went to my mum(as she most likely made me watch it when I was little). She told me that it was Mary Poppins!! And I still love Mary Poppins to this day!! I'm actually dancing in a show to a song from Mary Poppins!! 

17. Last disney film you have currently watched?

A few nights ago I watched Into the woods! It's amazing! I definitely recommend it!

18. Is there a disney movie you have not seen?

I don't think so...

19. What is a animated non-disney movie that you like? 

I really like Rise Of The Guardians and both How To Train A Dragons. 

20. Favorite disney quote from any disney film? 

"Woman up"~Big Hero 6 or "Children have to be free to live their own lives"~The Little Mermaid

21. Which upcoming disney film are you most looking forward to see?

STAR WARS!!! Ever since Disney bought Star Wars I've been waiting for a new film and it's finally coming out in December!!! To be completely honest, my dad and I are massive Star Wars nerds!! Like we can basically quote a load of the films!! We are definitely going to the cinema to watch it! But we're not too sure whether to watch it in 3D or not?? 

22. Last question which main disney Disney character (Mickey for example) is your favourite?

GOOFIE ALL THE WAY!! He's so weird and funny and adorable and aww I love him!! I have honestly almost cried every time I have seen him in the Disney parks!

My recent music favourites!

Keep on reading if you would like to find out what I have been loving listening to recently!

1- Don't you go by All Time Low. I really love this song because it's really upbeat and I can't seem to listen to it without dancing and singing along!! I have also really loved listening to their whole album 'Future Hearts' Great tunes!!

2- Flashlight by Jessie J. This song is actually in Pitch Perfect 2 (which was amazing!!) and it's probably my favourite song from the film! It's has lots of lovely harmonies and beautiful lyrics! Love it!

3- Irresistible by Fall Out Boy. Now this is an amazing song for working out (as weird as it may seem) because it's really upbeat and has a very easy-to-follow lyric basis and overall a great song!

4- The Strays by Sleeping With Sirens. I am definitely a fan of Sleeping with Sirens and this is actually my new favourite song of theirs! If you are looking for a band to get into then this is the one I would recommend! Especially this song!

5- Fireproof by One Direction. I've been a fan of One Direction for a very long time now (and I'm even lucky enough to be seeing them later this year!!) and I can honestly say that the album 'Four' is actually very different to the other albums, in my opinion. This song is my favourite from the whole album because it isn't upbeat or slow its that lovely place between that! I love it!

Exam season is here... Yay

So exam season has officially arrived! I'm glad everyone is glad to her that... Who am I kidding no one wants exams!! I honestly don't want anyone to stress themselves out over these next few weeks. I know it may seem like the end of the world but I promise you that if you try as hard as you can, you will succeed!

Hi guys! Ella here, welcome to my blog! 

I have been very excited to start this new blog and I hope you will all enjoy reading my posts as much as I enjoy making them!! I'm sure you're all aware that there are people called vloggers and youtubers that make videos that go up on YouTube. Now, I have been wanting to start a YouTube channel of my own but I don't think I am confident enough to show my face to the whole of the Internet so I decided to start my own blog! 

Here I will write about fashion, music and just advice that I could give to people really! I just want to make a difference to at least one person, that would make me so happy!
